c1936 large Carlton Ware Will O' Wisp pattern jug/pitcher

This lovely large jug/pitcher is by Carlton Ware and the pattern is known as Will O Wisp which was designed in c1936.

The jug/pitcher has a cream background with an abstract green brown & mauve decoration.

It has a large angular handle and ridges below and round the top of the neck.

The base has the backstamp "Carlton Ware Made in England Trade Mark" (1925-1970), the painted pattern number 3939 and the indented shape/impressed number 1477.
